An Interview with Charlotte Crocker - Talking about Mental Health in the Aviation Industry
Trigger Warning - On today's episode, we discuss mental health issues and suicide. Whilst we don't go into details about any particular occurance, it may be triggering for some.
We're talking to Charlotte Crocker, who delivers Wellbeing, Mental Health & Suicide Prevention training within the aviation industry. Former cabin crew, she flew for 12 years for several UK international airlines, before becoming an SEP trainer. In addition to there current training qualifications, she also holds a Level 4 in First Response Emergency Care, which enables her to work and volunteer for the ambulance service. Charlotte writes commercial crime fiction novels (as D.E. White), as a hobby for publishers including HQ Stories (HarperCollins), Joffe Books and Storm.
In 2025 she created @AreYouOkayHunni? A substack newsletter and Instagram to help promote wellbeing and mental health conversations amongst the flying community.
