In the aviation world, we've had plenty of crew who will go sick downroute so they don't have to work home - they get the name One Sector Sally (a cabin crew member who gets the reputation of only working one sector). I guess a flight attendant might do that for myriad reasons. They hate their job, they have stuff going on at home, or maybe they meet the most amazing guy at their destination and don't want that magic to end?
That's exactly what happened to the donor of our latest story. She met an incredible man in Cape Town, and had to make a choice about leaving him or leaving her crew a man down!
